The Cheshire High School program is completely funded through the Cheshire Fencing Club. Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, but only by special request and availability is extremely limited.  Personal training is an important component of a fencer's development, however, the club is supported by volunteers  - it is much better to get your instruction from people who do this or a living.  We recommend the following local facilities for private instruction:

Candlewood Fencing Center in Danbury, Connecticut is perhaps Connecticut's finest fencing center and offers many comprehensive classes of varying skill level in Foil, Epee, or Sabre.  They also offer private lessons from USFCA certified instructors and training from Russian masters.  (203) 778-0808

is located at 180 Johnson Street, Middletown, CT.  Private Lessons are available with all members of the ICONN Coaching Staff by appointment.
